Angelina Colón is a visual artist and aspiring art educator and administrator. Originally from South Florida, she is currently based in Chicago, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Colón’s work, primarily in ink and watercolor, captures the subtle characteristics, moments, and mundanity of daily life. Colón enjoys exploring elements of humor and absurdity in her illustrations. With a keen interest in art education and administration, she has gained classroom experience at Galileo Learning and serves as a Senior Program Assistant for the College Arts Access Program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
